Fontaine was included by the International Biographical Centreof Cambridge in the two thousand most outstanding scholars of this century. In November 2001 he was proclaimed `international man of the year 2001` by a large international committee.
The American Biographical Institute in Raleigh (North Carolina) is preparing a publication of Great Minds of the Century. Fontaine will also be included in this book.
