Political Economy and Business Economics. Specialisation in
Public Finance and Development Assistance.
1959-61 Military Service (21 months); Officer in the Reserve of the
Military Administration.
1961 Trainee with the Central Bank of Israel, Jerusalem (3 months).
1964 Trainee with the European Coal and Steel Community,
Luxemburg (3 months).
Professional career:
1964-66 Economist in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, The Hague;
Directorate for Foreign Economic Relations.
1967-68 Financial analyst for Eurofinance (a private company), Paris.
1969-96 Administrator, OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation
and Development), Paris.

(pre-) history, geography, art.
